I have been shaving daily for about 65 years and enjoy trying many shaving products just for variety. I have been through all the major brands from Casswell-Massy to Barbasol and from shaving pucks to aerosols. I appreciate the small cans of Caisson products for their great fragrances and excellent lather. So many other brands have no fragrance other than a chemical blocking fragrance or a named aroma such as lavender, which bears no resemblance to the plant. Many do not lather well even after several minutes of stirring. Caisson has solved these problems with a product that smells great and produces a thick lather in about 30 seconds. I find that brush shaving lifts and lubricates the whiskers better than any other system and really takes no more than a minute of extra time to produce and apply a lather and then rinse your equipment. If you shave in the shower, the Caisson cans will resist damage from water, whereas a varnished wooden case will not.
