I kind of bought this on a whim thinking it'd be a fun gimmick razor to have in the collection.
It's now replaced my main razor and the stupid multiblade I still used for quick shaves.
Why? Set it to 6 (aggressive) on Monday morning when I've got two or three days of growth from my shave on Friday morning. Then set it to 1, 2, or 3 the rest of the week when I'm just taking off a normal day of growth.
But even better than the adjustable blade exposure is changing blades. It's literally a snap. Pop off the cap, knock the old blade off onto the counter and place the new one on and snap on the cap. Done. It takes longer to get the blade out of its wrapper than to change it on the handle.
10/10, considering getting one for my son.
This is some fine stuff for sure, I just wished that the Military Exchange still had it for order!
One of my first hard soaps. Slickness and the lather was amazing. Scent was one of a kind. Once I'm low on all my shaving soaps, I will get another Cassion shaving soap.

Im active duty Army meaning i shave every day and each tin lasts me about 6 months code 4 is one of my favorites not only does it last forever it has such a crisp smooth scent its one of my favorites
I rolled the dice because the old Astra brand blades changed ownership and went downhill. These work every bit as good as the old ones- and better. I realized I’m down to a few months left (each blade gets me through at least a week- I skip a day every now and then) and came back for more only to see they are out of stock. Hopefully they’ll be back before I’m out!

I have been shaving daily for about 65 years and enjoy trying many shaving products just for variety. I have been through all the major brands from Casswell-Massy to Barbasol and from shaving pucks to aerosols. I appreciate the small cans of Caisson products for their great fragrances and excellent lather. So many other brands have no fragrance other than a chemical blocking fragrance or a named aroma such as lavender, which bears no resemblance to the plant. Many do not lather well even after several minutes of stirring. Caisson has solved these problems with a product that smells great and produces a thick lather in about 30 seconds. I find that brush shaving lifts and lubricates the whiskers better than any other system and really takes no more than a minute of extra time to produce and apply a lather and then rinse your equipment. If you shave in the shower, the Caisson cans will resist damage from water, whereas a varnished wooden case will not.

I purchased Caisson blades recently and they have been the best blades I have ever used so I had to try their brush and soap.
I have used boar hair brushes in the past and the Caisson synthetic brushes far exceed their comfort and functionality.
