An Oldie makes a Comeback

From my earliest memories in the 1940's, my father always depended on a shaving puck and a camel hair brush for his daily grooming. He even traveled with them. The 1960's brought us aerosol cans of shaving soap such as Edge Gel which quickly proved more convenient. Unfortunately, airline rules soon forbade carrying aerosols on board, and by 2004, even tubes of shave cream had to be 3 oz. or smaller and placed in a see-through plastic bag for clearing airport security. There are very few choices of 3 oz. tubes of shave cream. Caisson has solved these problems by resurrecting the canned shaving puck which is not a liquid, cream or gel and can be safely stowed in your "carry-on." I have tried Code 4, BOHICA and Fire for Effect. All have benefited from modern technologies regarding fragrance and lather production...they are not your grandfather's soaps. Each has been a joy to use and add no more than 30-40 seconds to your shave time because they lather so quickly. I thought Bohica must have been named after a middle eastern town but discovered later that it represents a euphemism from the Vietnam war, just as SNAFU and FUBAR came from soldiers in WW II. Look it up.
